Kikirindiya (Eclipta prostrata), widely known as Bhringraj in Ayurveda, is a moisture-loving creeping herb with small white flowers. It holds a legendary status in traditional medicine, particularly for its miraculous ability to promote hair growth and reverse liver damage.

- Juice for Jaundice: A teaspoon of fresh leaf juice, mixed with a little honey, is given twice a day to patients suffering from jaundice to rapidly restore liver function.
- Kikirindiya Porridge (Kenda): The leaves are ground and cooked with rice and coconut milk to make a highly nutritious herbal porridge that purifies the blood and strengthens the immune system.
Precautions
Kikirindiya has a cooling effect on the body. Individuals who are highly susceptible to colds, asthma, or excess phlegm should balance its consumption by mixing it with warming spices like black pepper when making porridge.
